Summer Enrichment Award

 

What is the Summer Enrichment Award
The Education Foundation Award is an annual financial award program designed to help youth explore possibilities and pursue enrichment activities outside of school.

The Summer Enrichment Award is open to ALL SACS students, grades K-12, pursuing a chance to enrich themselves and their talents, and to receive scholarship money to fund it. 

 

 Who and What is Eligible? 

  • Are you an aspiring musician and/or future Broadway star with hopes to attend Rock Camp or theater camp?
  • Are you an athlete planning to attend camps to hone in your athletic skills while developing leadership skills?
  • Is your hope to complete Drivers Education but need help with class fees?
  • Maybe you want to construct a multi-platform video game system or learn computer programming but need to learn the basics? 

 The sky is the limit - the financial awards are unrestricted and are available to all SACS students, grades K-12. 

 

How it Works 
Any SACS student, grades K-12, is encouraged to apply to receive up to $500 toward their activity. 

The 2025 application process is NOW OPEN. Summer Enrichment Award Recipients are notified in early spring.  Applications are reviewed by the SACS Education Foundation's Board Members and a Selection Committee. 

 A total of $7,000 in financial awards is awarded annually and will be split among all SACS schools and all grade levels.

 

How to Apply 
The 2025 application window is now open. Interested applicants should complete an online application available here and upload a written essay (up to 300 words) or upload a video essay (up to two minutes in length).  Application deadline is 11:59 p.m. Sunday, March 16, 2025
