At the May 3 SACS School Board Meeting, SACS Education Foundation Board Members announced this year's 17 scholarship winners.

The annual scholarship program is designed to help youth explore possibilities and pursue enrichment activities outside of school. Applicants were encouraged to complete an online application, as well as, submit either a written essay (300 words) or upload a video essay describing how they would use the funds if selected as a winner. More than 100 SACS students, of all ages and grade levels, applied and 17 winners were selected to receive scholarships ranging from $200-$500 for a total of $6500.
